Consider this a trial run with your photographer. You wouldn't want to find out on your wedding day that you don't have a connection with the person you are trusting your memories with. You also wouldn't want that to be the day you have a double chin when he kisses your forehead just the way you like. 

When I do engagement sessions, they are really for the information we learn during the session. Together we find the poses you love; we find the poses you look your most flattering and we build a connection that on your wedding day gives us an advantage in communication and trust.
